Recycling Technician Temporary

Location: New Castle
Starting Salary: $11.28
Duties:

Some of the major duties include cleaning the Recycle Delaware containers and location sites, recording levels of collected materials, removing unwanted items left at the sites and using lawn equipment, maintaining daily logs, installing signs, maintain and clean vehicles, and may be required to assist in the collection of curbside recyclables, operate oil filter or electronic goods routes. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid class “D” Delaware Driver’s License, good driving record, ability to work independently, ability to move 30+ pounds, ability to use small hand tools, be self motivated, execute written and verbal instructions. Ability to read road maps and navigate Delaware roads. Be available to work a rotating shift. This is a safety sensitive position and will require random drug testing as a condition of employment.

Recycling Curbside Technician Temporary

Starting Salary: $15.00
Duties:

Some of the major duties include driving to residential homes to collect curbside recycling materials, delivering supplies to existing customers, maintaining and cleaning a recycling truck daily and unloading collected material.

Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class “B”. Ability to communicate well with the public. Ability to read road maps and navigate Delaware roads. Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions associated with this position. Ability to lift 75 pounds without difficulty. This is a safety sensitive position and will require random drug testing as a condition of employment.
